Parents are still counting their irreplaceable losses after a three-storey building collapsed at the early hours of Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
One of such double agony that befell a family was the death of a set of twins (Taiwo and Kehinde), popularly called Ibeji in Yoruba land in the ill-fated building collapse.
Born the same day, unfortunately, the beautiful young girls were trapped in the rubble and brought lifeless, it’s a sad day, a terrible day, a national disaster and a day of national mourning.
According to the report, the disaster happened early in the morning when Taiwo and Kehinde, like other pupils, were in class, hoping to build a future and have one of the most important legacy parents can bequeath their children.
The parents of the twins will never forget that day as they will be burying two of their kids who were born the same day
The building is located on No. 44, Massey Street, off Ita-Faji Market, on Lagos Island, which also housed Ohen Nursery and Primary School, the school Taiwo and Kehinde attended.
