Many were left surprised when ex Liverpool star turned pundit, Jamie Carragher boldly said that Man City’s Raheem Sterling is a better player at the moment to Neymar of PSG.
He said:
‘I wrote recently he and Sadio Mane are the best left-sided players out there. I now rate Sterling above Neymar. His ambition, alongside Kylian Mbappe.’
But maybe he has a point?
The Man City star man has scored eight goals in his last eight games for his country England, while his next goal will be his 40th for club and country since the start of last season. Amazing!
He also won the PFA Young Player of the Year last season, and has started this season very well for his club.
While Sterling has been doing wonders on the pitch, Neymar doesn’t even like his present club. His transfer to Barcelona failed and the Brazilian isn’t too happy about it.
He has also been accused of diving for Africa which has affected his growth as a footballer.
