Chief Justice of Nigeria, Muhammad Tanko has issued a warning for those disobey a court order which he may draw serious consequences.
The CJN who was represented by John Tosho, Chief Judge of the High Court federal launching home 9 representatives of the legislative agenda in Abuja, commended the National Assembly to be a good ally and reliable of justice Nigeria and further added that the judiciary will continue to operate without fear or favor.
Muhammad declared that every citizen of the land should be obeyed as disobeying lawful court order would be too serious to bear.
"I will assure you that when you start this important journey of national rebirth and re-invigoration through effective legislation, people-oriented, Justice is solidly behind you.
"We will on our part, as usual, vigorously pursuing the observance of the rule of law by all citizens. There are no sacred cows anywhere, because nobody is above the law, no matter his position in society. "Justice must be served without fear or favor. Each country's law must be obeyed.
Let me assure everyone present here that the consequences of disobeying lawful court orders would be too serious to bear. "We must prepare our waist to perform our tasks is constitutionally designated with due diligence so that Nigeria can become the pride of everyone" he said
